Nearly all puzzles are meta so yeah it's very very not much like Lorelei and the laser eyes. It's also very very different from Outer Wilds or such because it's extremely based on systems. It's a masterpiece of mixing and balancing systems with narration / puzzle... but not for everyone apparently.
