Pretty much. The crop damage will be valid damage, but a big tornado in the middle of nowhere can be much less damaging than a small-medium in an urban area.
That said, city sprawl creates more powerful tornados, because pavement is a heat sink, creating more powerful convection.

Given what KSDK is reporting, I’d say we’re looking at F2- F3. High two, low three. F2 is where you lose a lot of roofs, F3 is walls down, roofs gone.
