Well the article writers are from Miller Thompson law firm which is Gerald Chipeur, lawyer to Harper, Poilievre and the Conservative Party. They are involved with Jonathan Denis and the plaintiff

The fact THEY wrote the article shows they want to threaten the public to suppress free speech

I personally don’t think this case has anything to do with Chipeur or Harper.

I also feel the article is misleading as there is an appeal in process that has a very good chance of succeeding, IMHO

The appeal also could flush out some serious issues for Denis.

Miller Thompson is Gerald Chipeur though. Why would his law firm cover Theobius, the only account they really want to expose here (while revealing all the other accounts they are angry about).

It's the content they didn't want shared, which was damning. Chipeur's law firm wants to scare others

Miller Thomson is a huge firm. IMHO, you’re overestimating his reach and/or desire to track down an anonymous whistleblower on the Internet.

I stand by my comments. There is one former staffer of MT who is behind the actions on the ground regarding Twitter/Bluesky. The docs support my assertions

Miller Thomson makes zero mention of the appeal which is much more relevant than the original ruling

This past Thursday, @bsky.app asked for and was granted a stay on the original order and an extension to the 45 days to turn over the DM’s

This appeal is far from over and for good reason
