tbh part of my brain might also be stuck in 2016 because "if you introduce a political system in your story that is inherently injust in some way you are morally obligated to fix or dismantle it by the end" was absolute a SU fandom talking point

i'd love to ~instill a democracy~ in my story, random strawman, however consider: thats not what its about
best case scenario would be avery figures out how to upgrade her laptop so everyone at the office gets new computers that don't operate exclusively in binary
c:/ is inherently better IMO break times are more lenient, programs can technically do whatever they want also with an auto-run script that takes over for them when they're 'out of office', and you have guaranteed job security bc what are they gonna do, fire you?? where would you go
like unless you're an actively malicious script/program you can do your work as slow or as bad as you want. the only way you're leaving is if the admin uninstalls you. blessing or curse, either way mycx will make you feel miserable uninstalling things
i have a google doc that's a prototype operation manual for a copy machine & goes in depth on proper usage, DRM, copies of copies and (as a bonus) all known/canon minor & major uses. when i say i'm working on mycx i mean i'm proofreading this specific thing /hj
do programs require PPE to operate heavy machinery? idk but all the historically important events were done without it. Who give a fuck. OSHA compliance is secondary to cool sci-fi computer happenings
