I don’t think for one second that this plane will be accepted for service as AF1, by the Air Force who have to operate it.
I’m inclined to think it just won’t happen. If it does it will be at best a semi-secure luxury private jet for less demanding uses.

It would be more secure if the president were to fly Delta. It’s a military plane, that is in part why its call sign is AF1. How is this any different than the Chinese giving us military jets?

That literally was my first thought. If I were Qatar, I would simply ensure that I could hear the president's conversations for my secret service personnel.
