All I'll say on United tonight is I think RA needs a proper run at it, with some of his own players...I think this season is a write off if I'm honest...and I'm ok with that...the greater good going forward. ❤️🤍🖤🤞

Perhaps the season is a write off in terms of trophies. But the bigger picture is hopefully to see progress in implementing RA’s style of play and 343, even with the current squad, many of whom will leave soon.That would be a huge success as a definitive, modern style is missing since SAF era.
You are very generous and I agree that there is quite a task. I'm just not so sure that he will get the time required. The owners are always looking to take money out of the club at a sustained level. And with that they rely on European football. Right now the team doesn't merit a spot in the top 6.
I absolutely agree it doesn't...there's a lot of work required...I reckon he'll get more than 3/4 of a season tho to do it...at least one window...(summer as I don't really count jan). I hope so as I don't think coach is our issue if I'm honest.
It seems that he is a good coach but the club has had good coaches before and they still couldn't make it work. It will be difficult to shift players on. Big and lengthy contracts are always the issue. But it has to be a wait and see period.

We need to get relegated, lose loads of money, the Glazers to finally sell their shares, and then rebuild properly.
The problem is so deeply rooted and will take a very long time to actually fix.
I wouldn't mind a season in the Championship if that meant we could actually rebuild from the ground up instead of from the roof down.
