If you told 13-year-old me or, heck, even 35 year-old me , that someday I would be enjoying albums by Mel Tormé I would've called you bonkers. Some years ago somebody hepped me to this 1962 LP he did for Atlantic Records which changed my mindset about "The Velvet Fog."
