The problem is they are in the group that stands to benefit from the tax cuts held within so why would they vote against it.

That’s true of many Dems as well. They don’t all have a mediocre net worth. ALL elected representatives must be willing to vote in their constituents’ best interests not their own. Otherwise, they have no business being in office.
