Increasingly I feel like a lot of art and media is made to last a short amount of time before disappearing so it makes me happy knowing so people are still excited about a series that is almost fifty years old, and that it's still finding new fans!

Saaaame. It's a shame, since a good show stays with you for a long time, and fans keep churning out nice content, some of which changes with time and generations, as new eyes and new experiences get new looks on it.

it's why I'm mad at people saying "g-witch failed to get new fans" because yeah a lot of people who just move from one seasonal show to the next

but even now I still see plenty of people having their first blind "wtf???" reactions seeing the Gundam Hammer which kind of proves them wrong

G-Witch really did get so many new fans. Not all of them went on to watch more Gundam but a lot of us did (myself included!)

like bandai had to make a whole new factory to deal with the massive surge in gunpla demand!
