You call it a class war and they're actively stealing from you, but you refuse to play their game. Your refusal allows them to steal more, unabated.

That's not a winning strategy. Union organizing is one step in ownership of the workplace; the idea that we should only unionize is shortsighted.

Unionized capitalist workplaces are still predicated on the rich privately owning the lions share of the profits. Believing that we cannot go past taking "some" of the profitability back perpetuates the fundamental problem of an extractive class that, for the past 100 years, has worn our power down.

Believing we are morally above learning business, tax, etc is to give away the greatest tool that we have to fight back; the capacity to build power outside of their systems. It's the same reason black wall street was such a threat to rich white Americans 100 years ago.

Nothing is more dangerous than a working class that learns to work outside of the reach of the rich.

When we don't need the rich, when we have real, material resources available, we have power, and we have proof of concept. We can show what a better world looks like, we can draw people in.

When you say it can't be done, or that somehow you're gonna have to trade in your activism or whatever, remember people are already doing this. Folks like @sylvanaquafarms.bsky.social are actively making this type of model work.

Street protests and economic understanding are not mutually exclusive. Both appear to be necessary. Learning happens during protests and demonstrations. It's not black/white paradigm.
