Note on the literally part here — if you’ve got young kids, disabled friends, anybody in your life who can’t turn out to march, taking a soccer mom role is a good way to help out. As someone who was on a protest organizing Zoom call last night, motherfuckers need to be ready to literally carry water for 70+ year old ladies who lunch (laudatory), because in many places that is who is currently organizing and putting in the work of building a resistance.
