Most of them have never lived pay check to pay check or ever come up short on a bill... how can you possibly expect them to know what it is like to be "The People"
I don't know, probably the same reason they will cut disabled children and the elderly's medical insurance just to give multi billionaires more tax cuts. The rich are never satisfied. It won't stop.

because america is for white billionaires only. america does not care about poor or tired. these people are expendable, and are not profit centers. they frain resources from the wealthy. they are surplus population and the ruling class would not piss on them if they were on fire.
The sad truth is, looking at our history, I feel like it has been for the billionaires by the billionaires for a while now. We have been taught to stay away from our neighbors and tech has made us hermits. This has kept us in line working our butts off and filling their pockets while we struggle.
Because there is this belief that those who experience poverty are to blame for their misery. Those same people who blame and shame the poor can’t see the hypocrisy when government supplements and offers big business buy outs.

The explanation is that the companies provide jobs while huge salaries are paid to CEOs and dividends to shareholders. This is all done on the backs of minimum wage employees and people on disability.

In 09 a friend was a manager at a clothing store and encouraged me to apply assuring me she could work within my limits. Social Security said I could earn up to $1k a month. I called last year, they said I can earn $1k a month.
When you understand that billionaires own your politicians.
Than you will understand how they vote for billionaire policies.
Than you can make a decision if you should vote for a corporate owned politicians or a progressive person that will make his decision that will help the millions.
It's called Neo-Liberal Capitalism, and it has been in use, all whilst issuing propaganda against competing ideas like Marxism. It works better for the rich, so the rich, maintain it.

IRS doesn't make policy. That would be Congress. They don't tax the rich, because the rich pay them (much more than their congressional salary) to make laws that favor them. The government doesn't do ANYTHING that doesn't in some way enrich the oligarchs who call the shots.
