Since we live in an age of legalized gambling: $50 says >= 1 of Ms. M's sons will fall in love with a straight-or-bi version of Ms. X and end up mourning her less, if at all, when she dies.

$50 seems reasonable. I don't think I'd put more on it, but I do think I'll win my $50+.
