I would like to get out of the U.S. so I am ideally looking for a role that will sponsor me for a visa to work elsewhere. If the role is U.S. based, I need to stay in Minnesota. Remote strongly preferred.

EU Blue Card is probably the easiest way to get that, given your background. Come as a tourist, get a job offer, convert to Bluecard, get permanent residency after 27 mon. Welcome to Europe.

I don’t have a bachelor’s degree, which I think is an impediment to a Blue Card? I would love to be wrong about that though

In Germany for IT jobs professional experience is accepted to get a blue card.

You need to scroll down to the bottom of the page for the IT professionals exemption.
„University level“ refers to our very stratified labour market (we use academia pretty much like the U.S. uses redlining), what you did in the past is university level.

In case you pick Germany, get dual citizenship after 60 months. *You* might even be actually good enough for the exemption to get citizenship after 36 months. Few people are, but *you* might be.

EU blue card, well for Germany, has been updated for experienced folks in IT as of late last year or this year. I'm here and there's a vibrant tech scene with good life and work balance.
