it demystifies him in a way that harms his narrative position as the literal living sky god of capitalism who saw the end and with his divine wealth decided no. It wasn't his awareness of how people work within the systems he manipulates, he just got given a cheat sheet

Destroying Shady Sands is something we're okay with, however we feel the total dissolving of the NCR through it is a bit of a misread on who they'd grown to become by this point in the timeline, perhaps it's not the case and we're just not seeing enough but it does feel that way

The way the show uses familiar bethesda fallout tropes just to flip everything on it's head is brilliant. The missing family member being the real villain actually caught us, we were set up to expect the bethesda script but came out pleasantly surprised by it all

And how this made obvious villains like Moldaver and The Ghoul into much more interesting characters, how their actions have different weights to them when we know more about Lucy's story alone. Maximus too, his fall from grace and rise to knighthood just, wow yeah that was handled well.

Overall it's a good show, just parts of it are better as Fallout while other parts are better in isolation. Wouldn't have given it a shot without that Westworld connection but we're glad we watched it tbh.
