The thing about Doctor Who is a certain amount of it Has To Suck. It's gotta be worked through to get to the good bits. Unfortunately that amount of suck is rigid, with a shorter series length the same amount of suck takes up a bigger percentage of the run time. It needs at least 13 episodes!
