I have been alive a very, very long time. I have never once in my life (until that post the other day) heard even the suggsetion of this. I do not believe anyone *believes* that. Some may say they do. Likely future sex-scandal headliners.

I don't know what post the other day you are talking about. This is a line of thinking I've seen around for quite some time now, not just from grifting influencer types, but from their more earnest followers. But okay, I don't need you to believe me.
But the first I heard it, for the record, was in anti-masterbation discourse circa 2009. The phrase semen retention wasn't codified by then, but it was the same argument.
I'm talking about the post I replied to, where you replied to my reply... My point is it's just people following something idiotic because someone (somewhere) with influence said it was a thing. Ask Catholic priests how that sexual suppression works out.
This about vaginal fluids being estrogenizing is absolutely new, afaik. I was trying to say that being all sour-grapes about not getting off and ascribing mystical power to semen have a history. (The latter was satirized in Dr. Strangelove, after all.)
