Considering the lead the Conservatives had, I can't imagine them giving him a pass. The question then becomes, does the CPC continue to go down the right-wing/MAGA rabbit hole or do they try and pull back to a more PC stance? I don't think they have a choice if they want to win. - ThreadSky

They rejected a lot of MAGAs who want to be top MAGA. The party would have to repudiated Harper to go down a winnable track, though.

Yeah, I'm really hoping that I won't have to see his face every again soon.

And yeah, it would be great if the Conservatives took this as a sign to start moving back towards the centre. I miss the old PC party.
