but now it's more like BlueSky has gone to the opposite direction.

I could be wrong since that's just how I feel about this.

Maybe the communities here need to grow more before things start rolling.

This social media does not use an algorithm, so at the beginning it feels a bit empty. What helped me was to make lists with interests in order to make my navigation easier, and if you have a particular community in mind, ask to join a starter pack in order to add followers of similar interests.

There are people who already made lists based on # for example #chronicillness I just pinned those lists on my Home feed.
