That's my dream for the whole economy. We need the minimum wage to include a creeping ownership of every company, till the workers control at least 51% ( maybe more?) of every place they work. Founders do deserve a nice reward, but not megawealth.

Now there are definitely cases where you need operations/director input on the drive and direction of the company. In many companies, such as mine, there’s a reason the directors are there — it’s because they’re amazing at their jobs! But you’re right, the employees having a say is awesome.
Oh certainly, I'd never say we don't need management folks, but the current structure of most companies don't allow any serious input from workers, and all too often investor interests completely overwhelm what would be good for the long term of the company and workers.
In most good companies, workers are on board with making things work, and having to include them in management decisions will only benefit everyone. That it also helps cut off bad management from extracting all value for the short term investors is a side benefit.
