It happened really fast and on a route not heavily populated by people on Saturdays unless there is an event in the area. I def think cops let it happen though
The route ended in an area that is normally populated with people, but the parking lot of Union Station was mostly full of crews setting up a stage for the Memorial Day shows the monument is on a hill past it, but you can’t see the base of the monument where the idiots were standing very well from
There was also a big kids science event throughout the city that day, so people who may have seen it might not have said anything for the safety of the kids around them. the security in that area are not actually cops either. Still sus, but remember that security guards do not
The fact that the cop that was interviewed said they looked like they were from out of town sounds like a real winner. Like they’re all dressed the same- how tf do you know lol
I should probably update that the march ended in an area that is mostly heavily populated during that time, but as Union Station's parking lot was occupied by a crew setting up the stage for the KC Symphony event there, according to people I talked to who witnessed it, there wasn't near as many ppl
That monument is on a hill, and while you can see the monument from the base of the hill, you can't see people standing at the base of it, so they were basically looking out to trees and grass
