I hated my MacBook.
The compatibility issues drove me crazy.
It was always more expensive to get the Apple version of the same software.

Hmm. Adobe creative suite is identical cost-wise across platforms. I had to work on both too.

I worked in advertising (an art director). The reason every single agency I worked for in NYC uses Macs:
Build quality, ease of use, MacOS easier to fix (according to my IT depts).

A Mac is perfect for graphic design.
I think a PC is better for business applications. I have both.
