I met a young man outside the hardware store yesterday. He was a vendor selling windows and was very persistent. I told him I’d very much like to replace all my windows but I had to save my money for the coming apocalypse. No new windows for me.

And only use a credit card in an emergency. Pay down as much debt as possible to reduce interest. Put off major purchases, or buy used. Save as much $ as you can to use as a safety net. Prepare yourself for economic uncertainty.
