This kind of thing really annoys me. Slotkin and Gallego overcame the GOP tide because they were running against Mike Rogers & Kari Lake and not running against Donald Trump. Heck, Kamala Harris got more votes than Slotkin did even though Harris was running against a much more difficult opponent.
