I blocked him years ago. These days I worry about things that affect me and my family daily. I ignore things that I have no control over. I get away from tech once a week at least and it is refreshing and allows my brain to calm down and relax. The silence is deafening at times.

Yup, it's nothing like it used to be. I wish more people could have experienced Twitter before Elon destroyed it. It went from being the best social media site on the planet with the least interference from the owners to becoming worse than even Facebook which seems impossible.

Truth Social is the only site worse than X for censorship and anti-free speech from my travels. It's so bad that I created 3 accounts over 48 hours and all 3 accounts were banned from the platform permanently for simply replying to a trump post and correcting the lies with facts & sources.

At least Elon Musk hasn't banned me for linking to sources, however, he does hide my posts from my followers so they can't see it which you could argue is almost as bad. At least if I get banned people will notice that follow me, but they won't notice when they simply stop seeing posts.
