If you need to process documents that contain proprietary or protected data then you should be running a local LLM under LMStudio or Ollama on your PC to prevent intentional or accidental data theft. These platforms count on convenience lowering your guard so be very aware!

Especially with platforms like DeepSeek that have all their data exposed to the Chinese government along with all their source code. This should be deeply concerning! Also, don't trust Grok with any personal info you wouldn't post publicly on X.
