Haven't read it, have only seen it online (I went through a phase of looking out for these Gollancz covers because I love the tone of them). Whenever I've seen it on eBay it's always been quite pricey.

I have this paperback edition, but they’ve watered down the reference to “…reminds one of Daphne du Maurier…” on the back cover.
