Honestly it's weird. I'm a redhead in the US who has moved a lot. Sometimes in a new place I'm treated like the other and sometimes in a new place I'm treated like the in-group.

I don't quite understand it, but I sure don't trust the conditional inclusion

It could be that we didn’t want the attention or how to handle it. It might have been if we brought it up it would be denied. We would much rather move forward in silence. And got very good at it. And that’s why you’re seeing a lot of us coming forward for the first time. JMO.

I looked it up, apparently in Britain it's so bad that people have tried to pass legislation to make it a hate crime. People have been beaten to death for being red heads...My fellow whites are just the absolute worst. It's never ok to tell a kid they have no soul cuz of the color of their hair...
