It is not just giving equal coverage it also needs to be balanced. I’m not a supporter of the Greens, but have a leadership contest soon, coverage has been non existent other than on candidate Zack Polanski it’s been that he wants to leave NATO, no explanation of why, interviews with him!

Yes indeed. The LDems, Greens get no meaningful coverage of what they’re doing. And they’re both doing a lot. You’d think what they and SNP/Plaid have to say on Trump would be news worthy given lab/tory/reform largely don’t rock his boat

Zack has been able to cut through by being bold and clear, whereas other candidates haven't been as memorable during their appearances. (Outside Parliament framing, can hardly tell they're Greens).

Yes, I think he looks like an interesting candidate from what I have read about him. I was really just commenting on the fact that the leadership contest hasn’t really been mentioned. I saw the clip of him regarding NATO and him running for leadership, I thought it was a coup until I looked into it

The same. They’re all regulated in a similar way. They have to abide by plurality rules during elex campaigns. So it would ensure they keep both a clock of what they’re covering but in addition we want to be a check on over played narratives that verge on propaganda when parroted over and over…

It’s a petition to parliament. We’re making the point we want more plurality as an electorate. People are waking up to subtle agendas and they need keeping in check. The messenger matters in a democracy

That’s up for discussion by parliament. We need a review. This is calling for a review. There clearly are narratives that take on a life of their own. How they are policed is up for debate but we need to give Ofcom etc some teeth to keep things in check. CBC in Canada manages this very well.
