In Chicago, I could show you multiple spots where the city just gave up, because they backed themselves into a corner or didn't have a good solution.

To be clear, the city is fine overall, but there are places where they kinda just stopped painting, or whatever.

That isnt what they said. You’re acting like he wrote a book because there’s enough cases of poor roadway design that numerous fatalities have resulted from it. Plus he’s right, roadways are designed by an engineer with minimal guidelines or focus on safety.

Yrs ago, calculus professor told class that he had been consulted when 285 in ATL was being built. Remember him saying something like if you think the on/off ramps are too short for merging, don’t blame me, I’d recommended 10 extra ft. 😂
