That's because it's in Asia. It's in Eurovision because of its white European settler colonial heritage.

Australia is in oceania, we just play in the Asia cup because we were too good for the Oceania leagues, new Zealand still play in the OFC.
I mean it's probably more that Eurovision is really popular here and there is a lot of money to be made by including us.
