Any good anime from recent years I should check out? I havent been keeping up at all, the only "current" things Ive watched are vinland saga s2, dungeon meshi and I just finally watched bocchi. also one piece.

Check out Id:Invaded. It's a psychological thriller about solving serial killer murders by going into their sub conscious. One of my top animes to watch. Trigger warnings for gore and other violent things though.
Frieren is fantastic for fantasy.
Lycoris Recoil has some of the best action scenes I have ever seen in anime.
Whisper Me A Love Song has some slightly cheap animation, but the story and voice acting more than makes up for it.
I definitely thought about Frieren, but it's one of those shows I've heard so much about that I'm kind of already exhausted from it, maybe in 3 years once everyone has moved on haha
Apothecary Diaries is very good (all my friends love it too). Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is great. Shangri-la Frontier, Frieren, and Dandadan are all real good. Eminence in Shadow is a good time (though I only recommend subs for that). Bureaucrat to Villainness is airing, real fun.
Hmm. Something I watched later that I enjoyed was the second season of Oshi no Ko! You’d need to watch S1 though - it expects you to be familiar with the characters already

Also if you caught up with One Piece, If you haven't seen it, wtch the OP Fan Letter OVA. I heard reallly good things about that too
