the only thing i dont want is an option to turn down the music
i think splatoon is based for being the only shooter where you actually hear its soundtrack and i dont want that to go away bc i have to turn it off to not be at a disadvantage
Afaik, they don't allow you to change music and sfx settings because turning off music and boosting sfx would "give too much of an advantage". They're not wrong, but I also don't think that'd a valid reason to not have these settings.
I don't see this mentioned often but a white reticle over bright colours feels terrible to me. Let me add a black border! Or at least change it! This has been an option in every shooter even before accessibility became a focus for developers
It is genuinely appalling to me how little accessibility features splatoon 3 has. We're over 8 years in and the only thing we have is a colour lock that uses preset colours (so doesn't always help).
Things like, text size, volume, audio to visual and button mash settings should be standard by now.

They need to realize that people get older and want to replay games they loved again in their 60s and 70s with bad eyesight and reaction times
That's probably the argument you need to make to them because the pleas of the disabled community haven't really arrived with em
