idk im pretty upset that this is a special that gets to tell me 'haha fuck you, most you can do is trade after they pushed a single button mid-fight, eat shit loser'

the amount of effort you have to put into killing the splashdown user + surviving is ridiculous compared to how easy it is to use TSD

I don't think anyone's ever really LIKED splashdown/tsd on either side though, it's extremely boring to use, it's counterplay is boring and is the most one-dimensional special we've ever gotten

it's aesthetically cool and that's literally it

outside of that it's a panic special that requires absurd amounts of skill on the victim's behalf while the user can just feed stupidly and panic it mid-fight with minimal effort

there is not a single other special like this. EVEN ZOOKA was healthier

I wouldn't hate it myself if you couldn't pop it the frame before you died to keep ~45-95% of the special and still possibly trade someone

you shouldn't be able to get value out of a special that way, it's really lame and annoying
