Oooh, I know you will add just the right amount of angst to the characters. I know you don't want cause unnecessary suffering to Chloe and Lucifer at such an angst riddled time.

It's angst that forces them to confront a lot of things, and ultimately lets them start to untangle the mess they're in. Kind of like "it gets worse before it gets better." So I'm hoping that it does feel like it's handled well!

It does. I notice. Its them realising there is a problem between them and what they can do to solve it. I get that it gets worse before it gets better, but when it is better, their relationship is going to be stronger through the obstacles they had to go through to get there.

Exactly! There are multiple problems for them to face here, with a lot of complicating factors. But that's what's so compelling to me about those kind of storylines - they end up so much stronger after facing it together
