Okay, it shows his rage levels... But what about this event specifically sets off that rage? What makes it different to any other time he's faced mass death? What triggered him specifically to see Gallifrey in the crowds of a song contest? There's no depth. And it still doesn't explain Belinda

The Doctor is in the wrong in that scene. Belinda could’ve called him on that more harshly, sure, but the framing of it all in the moment is positioning the Doctor as scary, vindictive and out of character.
It’s not as though the story is suggesting-
I personally don’t need that but if you really really want the narrative to condemn the Doctor, that’s the route.
