This might be a hot take but I thought we wanted more teams in the splatoon scene and 8s seem like pickups with extra steps no? I can understand they can be fun, but it’s really hard to find good practice in scrims.

very good to get good practice in when your entire team isn't avaliable, but if your team is I'd just do sendouq or scrims personally
I understand their intent but sometimes I kinda wish people would form groups of 4 and scrim more often
It’s easier to get 8 people in a lobby and play than 2 groups of 4 which pickups are
If it’s easier to get 8 people in a lobby people can easily make a 4 person pickup to scrim a team. I’d take anything now
