if you want a message to break through, you have to put it EVERYWHERE. work it into your talking points, send it down to your members, fire it down every channel. talk about it when it's pertinent AND non-pertinent. you want it to stick? BLITZ. blaming the media won't change a thing.

the media doesn't owe anyone anything. they're in it for views and clicks. therefore, they cannot be relied upon to carry a message just because they own the cameras.

local news doesn't carry stories like "everything's fine" or "things are better" because they're not considered "newsworthy."
