Gibraltarians can't just go live in Portugal or Austria. But the likes of Malaga or Seville airports will quickly get used to that and won't bat an eyelid at a Gib arrival
But if you arrive in Slovenia from Morocco, don't expect the local guards to distinguish between different types of "Briton"😉

I would be confident too that Gibraltarians will expressly, or vos the courts, get the same protection as a third-country national ordinarily resident in Europe anyhow. With the oddity that the country of residence is tiny 😁

It will be interesting to see what will happen since we can't apply for the visa waiver. I imagine we will be questioned, border staff will ask for proof we are on holiday and return flights, or EU country docs, etc., or we will be turned away? Who knows?

As you know, but for everyone else, I am not a Gib resident, but the q is the same for all 3rd country residents in an EU country arriving from outside Schengen to an EU country where we aren't resident.

I'm a bit confused. What scenario are you envisaging? As a Brit resident in Spain under the WA, if I fly to another Schengen country, there are no border controls or passport stamps. As part of a Common Travel Area with Schengen, it's the same for Gib residents. What am I missing in understanding?

If you fly to the UK, see some family, then fly for a quick holiday in Denmark, say.

Then we just show our EU residence card along with our passports and are not subject to checks. As Gibraltarians flying from UK will do. The Gib residence card will act the same way as ours.
