If we’re planning to play and develop a young player especially in a system with wingbacks I’d move to Roman Dixon. Physically he looks very capable and had some pretty significant stops and balls played in the game he played showing he also has the technique

We also stand to have a high ROI for Dixon due to him being an academy player. Pattersons fee was a crime but seem to be offset by his wages

What is the most amount of games started in succession? I'd be interested to know that.

One thing I do know, is that he would offer a lot more that young, if just in the fact he can get up and down.

Long term, maybe we need better. But he should be playing.

Quick look has his max string of games being 7 PL games in a row. He was only off for 1 game for most of those breaks so seemed to be rotational
