It's because the toxic subculture fostered within the CPC allows them to say things that are absolutely unacceptable to most Canadians. CPC candidates keep slipping up and talking in public like they do among themselves. Canadians ignore such 'slips' at their peril.

A conservative voter in Toronto complained that he was still waiting (called them 2 weeks ago) for a lawn sign. PP demanded an election when Justin prorogued Parliament but apparently never prepared. Conservative media also supported that in January.
