It's alright! I am a proponent of conversation and think that disagreement is important.

Historically, technological afvances created a ton of value, which did improve a lot of ordinary people’s lives and created leisure time, etc. (Yes, lots of inequality, but still, a lot of ordinary people.)

Seriously though: I'm a German user, and people post the wildest things there. To me it often feels like a machine that turns people I like into cringe dispensers. I know this wasn't necessarily the site's intention.
But let's remember when Musk's AI, Grok started sounding "woke". Musk, instead of accepting the AI was making statistical conclusions from it's training data that woke is broadly accepted - decided to tweak the AI to fit his bias
That's a very sinister way use of technology
