Without getting into details, going just by message, she got her MD fair and square. It sounds like she at least did one year of training in surgery, and quit some time when doing her chosen profession, ears nose and throat (ENT)
One of the ways the media fails us is that it never points out that a doctor is not a doctor is not a doctor. Like you would never go to a urologist for sinus problems just like you would never go to ENT for bladder problems
The good ones admit what they don’t know (a good urologist straight up tells you they don’t know anything about the sinuses). Similarly, she might have some knowledge about general surgery and ENT, but she would’ve never have had any training in metabolism
