Thanks for thinking of sharing this direct input from federal workers. I can so easily slip into their shoes in my imagination. I remember being wholly dependent on that paycheck whoever my employer was. Most were fine but never assured. W 3 kids, absent husband/dad, limited resources; it was a lot.
