There's a non zero chance one of the larger agencies goes under or gets acquired at some point which would mean all their talents get traded like cattle to Sony or Tencent or all just disappear overnight.

When they do they give talents the options of staying on but giving them a bigger cut of the money, pay blatantly inflated sums to buy their character IP, or quit and lose the character.
