I think I've expressed my frustration with the microsoft boycott generally not even mentioning windows, because our dependence upon it is basically the foundation of microsoft's wealth, and people generally consider it "untouchable".

You WILL have to relearn some things.
You WILL have to find alternatives to software you use now on windows.
You WILL have to not play some games.
You'll have left their ecosystem forever, and seeing a flood of people escaping their grasp, that is what will really truly scare them.

- I don't like following guides. I want easy installs.
- I want as much software as I can have, available to me, and not ancient versions, because if you are stuck on ancient versions, you will end up compiling things, this sucks.
it's mostly middle aged DirectX stuff that has issues
