Heavy Rain is also terrible LMAO but I will say… it was fun to watch playthroughs of it on YouTube before it actually got looked at very closely so I can give it that much. Didn’t seem much fun to actually play though

Heavy Rain is weird to me because everyone I knew and followed on the internet, whether they be mutual or a YouTuber I watched all thought Heavy Rain was awful but people would talk about it like it was this great piece of art.

I think it just had to do with the atmosphere and the graphics mostly it also game around the time of Gamer Gate idr if it was before or slightly after Anita S. Blew up but I definitely think criticism of games like Heavy Rain weren’t mainstream voices at the time
