Did that watercolor card for Mother’s Day! My mom really loves Delphinium but they’re past their blooming season now, so she got painted ones instead! #art #watercolor #mothersday

Red art quote!

May or may not attempt to do a watercolor Mother’s Day card for my mom- it’d be a lot of practice to cram into less than a week! #art #traditionalart #watercolor

Been doing more watercolor practice! I’m looking forward to learning more and hopefully improving. 🤞 #art #watercolor #traditionalart

Introducing Kyrre (also goes by Råka) They’re the an alternate version of Rook (lionsona) that’s a lynx and originates from the forests of Norway🌲🌲 A kindhearted gentle soul that one day wandered into Swedish lands where they met the love of their life🫶

id never seen this piece of Eyvind Earle concept art for Sleeping Beauty before and i'm losing my mind it is so good

Whole piece! Took me a lot longer than I'd anticipated, especially to get the patterning on the Red-Eared Slider right. Had a ton of fun with it, though! #art #digitalart #frogs #turtles

Sneak peek of a birthday card I'm making for a friend! Realistically painting metal is very difficult 😅 I recommend Hardy Fowler on Youtube! His tutorial on the topic has been a huge help. #art #digitalart #frogs www.youtube.com/channel/UC5h...

Canine face practice! Can you tell that connecting the snouts to the face at the correct angle was something I was having trouble with? Lol #art #digitalart #wolves #furry

thanks for 5,000 !!! here is another raffle: * follow me * repost this prize: one headshot ends: in one week!

The nice thing about having a personal Creature(TM) that you've been drawing for ages is that it's a good benchmark to see how your skill and style shifts over the years! It's also a time capsule for what principles and techniques you were practicing at any given time. #art #digitalart

Hi there! Here’s my new fantasy book illustration. My WIP files are free on Patreon. There u can also find source files (Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint) and high-quality illustrations for download. patreon.com/ElvyFox #art #background #landscape #fantasy #bookillustration #bookart #illustration

I have, frankly, too many OCs who have fully developed designs, personalities and character arcs, but I cannot for the life of me ever manage to think of names for them! Anyone know how to get past this particular mental block? #art #digitalart #OC

First time trying watercolor in over a decade! If anyone knows a creator I could follow for advice/tutorials, please let me know! #art #traditionalart #watercolor #wildflowers

New PFP!

Gaffer's Cat with a full mane of glass! He must have eaten too much sand... #art #digitalart #creaturedesign #worldbuilding

Well, he still looks a lot like a regular cat, but honestly I'm pretty happy with how he's turned out! Definitely going to do a piece next showing off the glass breaking through the skin! #art #digitalart #worldbuilding #fantasy #creaturedesign

This one was a little bit more of a rush job and I'm definitely going to refine the design later to make the skin actually look stone-like, and maybe change the anatomy and overall design to make it less of just a regular cat but with glowy bits sticking out, lol. #art #digitalart #creaturedesign

Applying the stone texturing/shading I've been practicing to a more sculpted form! #art #digitalart #artpractice

Rock practice! Next up on the docket is actually posing characters on them! #art #digitalart #artpractice

Tried to apply the foliage/background practice I've been doing to my usual art style! #art

Final results of my tree practice following the tutorial I mentioned last week! Now it's just a matter of applying what I've learned to my usual lined art style. But before that, I think it's time for some rock and ground practice. LMK if you know any good resources for either!

Well, it's an improvement over my cloud-trees, haha. @annmaulina.bsky.social 's excellent foliage advice found here- www.clipstudio.net/how-to-draw/... has been an amazing help! I can already feel my hand hurting thinking about drawing close-up shots... 😅

Huuru scraping at a termite mound! I've been drawing these lil dudes for about 5 years now, but the fur always came out lackluster. Thanks to @satoga.bsky.social for their excellent fur tutorial from 2018, it helped me a ton! I've still got a lot of improving to do, though.

Been trying to practice with anatomy, skin/scale texture, etc. over the past year. Received a couple excellent creature design and anatomy books for Christmas and my birthday, so hopefully I should improve some over this next year and take a crack at this piece again!
