Let history note: what's happening on the streets of LA is an extension of DOGE. Musk's guys illegally consolidated data from across government and cut a corrupt contract with Palantir to build an immigrant-hunting computer system. Presumably in use now.

This didn’t even hit the mainstream news. At all. A few weeks ago Dog Killer Lady tried to send people to South Sudan but the courts stopped it, slowed it down at least. Is the price for that “immigration help” the US joining the Sudanese civil war on the side of South Sudan?
