Indy randomly has a legit 70mm IMAX screen so I immediately prioritized SINNERS and holy hell was that an experience. It was breathtaking to see and feel the aspect ratio changes alone. FROM DUSK TILL DAWN meets MISSISSIPPI BURNING by way of LAWLESS. I loved it. Coogler is such an exciting voice.

One year ago today, I woke up to a text while horribly sick saying to jump on an emergency zoom meeting. And when I got on, I was greeted by a dozen executives from NBC-Uni and SYFY telling me REVIVAL was greenlit 🖤

I will miss my first SXSW in 12 years. And it hurts. I have too many obligations w/ REVIVAL alongside an event honoring me at my University I must attend. Yes, I'm bummed to miss some great films, but more-so to miss so many friends who I feel like I haven't seen in *forever*. Rain check please?
